Resilient Stafford – courses will be running from 15th January until 12th March 2025 inclusive.

On behalf of Stafford Borough Council, Keele University who are leading the sector in sustainability, are delivering 6 workshops specifically for businesses based in the Stafford Borough area, to help them understand how the transition to net zero might impact their organisation.

Sessions can be attended as standalone, although a business would get more out of it, if they attended all sessions.

Workshops which are fully funded via the UK Shared Prosperity Fund will be a mix of in person and online and will cover the following:

  • Understanding the net zero transition for SMEs
  • Supporting their own organisation to be sustainable
  • Building resilience in uncertain times
  • Bringing staff on a sustainability journey
  • Scope three emissions reductions
  • Leadership on climate and energy

 

Dates are as follows:

  • Wednesday 15 January 2025 (am) – online
  • Thursday 23 January 2025 (am) – Keele University
  • Wednesday 29 January 2025 (am) – the Uttoxeter Suite at The Beaconside Group, Stafford
  • Wednesday 12 February 2025 (am) – Eccleshall Cricket Club, Eccleshall
  • Wednesday 26 February 2025 (am) – online
  • Wednesday 12 March 2025 (am) – The Stone House Hotel, Stone

 

Participants of this short course will have the opportunity to build on Keele’s knowledge and shape their own pathway towards a resilient net zero future.
