To help your business reduce your costs and your carbon footprint at the same time, we are offering Staffordshire based businesses FREE Carbon Literacy Training (CLT).

Who is eligible for Carbon Literacy Training?

Staffordshire businesses (excludes Stoke-on-Trent area) of any size are eligible to access up to two FREE places per business.

Why do Carbon Literacy Training?

  • Construction company Jacobs UK indicate that typical realised carbon savings from Carbon Literacy Training are at least 5-15% per person.
  • There are also huge branding benefits for organisations who qualify for Carbon Literate Organisation (CLO) status.

What’s involved in a CLT course?

This 8-hour training course will provide you the knowledge and skills to take action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. You can choose whether to attend an in-person or online course. CLT:

  • focuses on the behavioural aspect of the fight against climate change.
  • provides individuals with the scientific evidence required to make well informed decisions about their impact on climate change.
  • provides individuals with the tools required to continue vital conversations around the climate change emergency.

How do I reserve a place on a CLT course?

The following courses are now available, and you can reserve a place by clicking on the links below:

17th April 2024 – in person/face to face event – timings starting at 08.30am finishing at 05.30pm

15th & 16th May 2024 – online event – timings 09.00/09.15am IT check, starting at 09.30am finishing at 1.30pm

13th June 2024 – in person/face to face event – timings starting at 08.30am finishing at 05.30pm 

10th & 11th July 2024 – online event – timings 09.00/09/15am IT check, starting at 09.30am finishing at 1.30pm
