Environmental Sustainability is one of the University’s strategic aims and is embedded into teaching, research and operations at the University.

The Keele University Campus is the home of Europe’s largest multi-energy-vector Living Laboratory demonstrator, the Smart Energy Network Demonstrator (SEND), to develop and test new approaches to energy supply and use on a small town scale.
