Leek Town Football Club Ltd & CIC

We are non elite football club playing at Step 4. In the last 12 months we undertook a journey to change our surface from traditional grass to 3g, this has meant participation on the pitch has increased tenfold and currently the Club is open every day with the pitch being used 60 hours per week. Participants include the first team, our ladies section or junior section and several community initiatives.

Our aim is to make the business model sustainable and a key part of this would be to change from our traditional floodlighting to LED – saving money and lowering our carbon footprint. We would also like to explore the use of solar panels, heat exchange pumps and electricity car charging points.
