Evaluation of Carbon Literacy training
We would like to invite you to continue to take part in an evaluation of this Carbon Literacy training.
What is the purpose of the study?
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of training. The results will be used improve this and other training programmes.
Why have I been invited?
Everyone who attends this Carbon Literacy training programme is being invited to take part in this study.
What will the study involve?
The study will involve your answers to pre- and post-training questionnaires.
Will my taking part in the study be kept confidential?
All information that is collected about you will be strictly confidential, and any information published later will have your name & details removed.
- Your responses to the pre- and post-training questionnaires will be entered into an electronic database.
- The organisations that will carry out data entry and have access to identifiable data are Staffordshire County Council, Staffordshire Business Environment Network (sben), DRH AMRE Consultants Ltd, Sustainability Changemakers, Manchester Metropolitan University and staff working on behalf of the Carbon Literacy Trust.
- The individual responses in the electronic record will be anonymised and given a research code known only to the researchers.
- The hard (paper) copies of your pre- and post-training questionnaires and a hard copy master list identifying individual participants to the research codes data will be stored securely within a locked office, accessed only by the researchers.
- The data will be used improve this and other training programmes. This will include producing a report, case studies and other materials including academic literature.
