A free training programme for business representatives to support their organisation in reducing its carbon footprint and drive down waste has reached a major milestone.

The Carbon Literacy Training initiative offered by Staffordshire County Council aims to empower local businesses with the knowledge and tools needed to enhance their sustainability practices.

Stafford business AP Webb Plant Hire Ltd’s Jason Charlton has become the 200th person to complete the course. The course is delivered by the Staffordshire Business Environment Network.

The training covers a range of topics, including energy efficiency, waste reduction and the adoption of eco-friendly products and practices.
