The annual Staffordshire Business and Environment Network (sben) event, held on July 4th, 2024, brought together Staffordshire’s business community for a morning of discussion and connection. Hosted at the picturesque Riverway Centre in Stafford, the event had a flavourful start with a delightful continental breakfast provided by Entrust. As participants sipped coffee and sampled pastries, the tone was set for an exciting lineup of presentations networking.
Businesses from across Staffordshire converged to exchange ideas, foster collaboration and strengthen the local network. Staffordshire County Council took centre stage, presenting on transport-related updates and news. Attendees learned about future plans for Staffordshire, including electric vehicle infrastructure, and strategies to reduce carbon emissions. The focus on transport highlighted sben’s commitment to a greener future where the people of Staffordshire are more connected.
An engaging networking activity broke the ice. Attendees participated in speed networking rounds, introducing themselves, discovering more about each other’s businesses and sharing thoughts on transport related issues. Relationships formed during these interactions would undoubtedly lead to future partnerships.
Excitement buzzed as the new sben forum was unveiled. This digital platform provides members with a free space to communicate, share best practices, and collaborate. From eco-friendly tips to business insights, the forum promises to be a valuable resource shaped by sben members.
