The Quarterly Economic Survey (QES) is the UK’s largest and longest-running independent survey of business sentiment. It provides insight into how UK businesses are performing from quarter to quarter. The findings are closely monitored by key policymakers, including the Treasury, the Bank of England, and the Office for Budget Responsibility, and often attract significant media attention.
