Bringing Chemistry to Life with VR – Sponsorship Opportunity

NovaSci Ltd is combining experience and expertise in chemistry and environmental science R&D with in-house capability in high-fidelity synthetic environments to develop an innovative VR tool to transform chemistry education.

The Marvellous Madeley Molecule Factory is designed for Key Stage 4 students but engaging for all ages. This immersive experience allows users to explore fundamental chemistry concepts in interactive virtual rooms—from a weird atomic ball pit, to a career-focused Jobcentre that highlights chemistry career paths. We are especially keen to showcase chemistry-related innovation in Staffordshire’s growing sustainability and energy sectors.

We are hosting up to eight work-experience students this summer from Madeley High School to put the software through its paces to contribute to software development and marketing, providing hands-on STEM learning opportunities.

Our Goal:
In this initial phase, we are offering this technology free of charge to Madeley High School and other Shaw Trust schools as an initial outreach project. The app will also be made commercially available for download for parents, home-learners, and educators, broadening its impact.

How You Can Help:
We are seeking business sponsorship to provide VR headsets for schools, helping students fully experience the immersive learning environment. In return, as we are also looking for Staffordshire examples to be featured, your business could be immortalised in the software!

Join Us in Making Chemistry Accessible
Support this initiative and help inspire the next generation of scientists in Staffordshire!
