The WWF has calculated

• Plastic waste generation in the UK in 2014 was around 4.9 million tonnes and could increase to around 6.3 million tonnes by 2030
• Plastic packaging made up two-thirds of plastic waste in 2014.

With the service sector being the largest single contributor (53%) to this growing problem , sben members Keele University and the SEL Group have worked together to develop ‘Plastic Use in Sales Services and Hospitality’ (PLuSSH). This  toolkit:

• Aimed at Services, Shops and Hospitality Sector
• Is free to use
• Takes approximately 15 minutes to complete
• Autogenerates a certificate & tips for improvement
