Free Energy Advice for Staffordshire Businesses: Reduce Energy Costs and Get Ready for Future Funding Opportunities

Staffordshire County Council is inviting eligible businesses across Staffordshire (excluding Stoke-on-Trent) to express their interest in receiving fully funded Energy Advice at no cost to your organisation.
Delivered by Green Lark Environmental Solutions on behalf of Staffordshire County Council, this support will help businesses better understand their energy consumption, identify opportunities for improvement, and prepare for future investment in energy-saving measures.
How Your Business Could Benefit:
Through this free energy advice service, your business could:
- Identify opportunities to reduce energy consumption and operational costs
- Improve energy efficiency across your premises and day-to-day operations

Expert Support from Green Lark:
Businesses participating in the programme will receive advice and support from Green Lark, an experienced environmental and energy consultancy appointed by Staffordshire County Council to deliver this initiative.
Green Lark Environmental Solutions will provide specialist guidance to help businesses:
- Understand their current energy performance
- Identify practical and cost-effective energy-saving measures
- Prioritise opportunities for improvement
- Explore options for future energy efficiency investments
- Prepare for potential grant and funding applications
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this support, your business must:
- Be located within Staffordshire County Council’s administrative area (excluding Stoke-on-Trent)
- Be a sole traders, micro-businesses, or a small or medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
- Have a combined annual gas and electricity consumption of at least 8,000 kWh per year
- Be located within non-domestic premise
- Be responsible for paying their own energy bills
- Be interested in improving energy efficiency and reducing energy costs

Limited Places Available
This programme is scheduled to run until March 2027. As funding is limited and demand is expected to be high, there are a limited number of places available.
Eligible businesses are therefore encouraged to register their interest as soon as possible to avoid missing out on this fully funded opportunity.
