Solar Enviro Visit: The Tawny Hotel

Overview:

Come along and visit the luxurious Tawny Hotel and hear about their experience with the BEAS programme and how their solar instalment has helped them and their savings. The Tawny Hotel were able to install a 130kWp Solar PV Array on their site. Their project was projected to save them £14,350 per year as well as 122,190kWh and 29.4 tonnes of CO2. With the help of the grant, their payback period is set to be only 4.2 years!

You will be able to hear from them how they found the process of apply for a grant, installing the solar panels, and their ability to track their daily savings, and after the presentation is finished you can even see the site for yourself. They will also touch upon their own continuous sustainability journey as they seek to preserve the ecology of their site, maintain the natural beauty of the English countryside, and their restoration of listed onsite properties.
