Advanced Ceramics Eco‑System
Advanced ceramics are at the heart of some of today’s most cutting‑edge technologies — yet their role is often invisible, even though they power innovation across advanced manufacturing.
What’s also easy to miss is the diversity of the supply chain behind these components. Many organisations contribute to the sector in ways that aren’t immediately obvious, and breakthrough ideas can emerge from unexpected places — including advances in other materials or technologies.
To showcase this diversity, the MICG is creating an interactive advanced ceramics eco‑system map. This map will highlight the strengths across the sector, spark new connections, and help drive meaningful collaboration. It will be populated by organisations across the UK and published online as a fully searchable resource for the entire community.
