
Staffordshire County Council is committed to helping businesses reduce costs. We are offering FREE Green Skills Training, including Accredited Carbon Literacy Training (CLT) in partnership with ClimateEQ alongside a range of other green skills courses. These programs are designed to equip your team with the knowledge and tools to improve efficiency and support a more sustainable future.
Who is eligible for Carbon Literacy Training?
Staffordshire businesses (excludes Stoke-on-Trent area) of any size are eligible to access up to two FREE places per business. The training is part funded by Staffordshire Moorlands District Council, Tamworth Borough Council, South Staffordshire Council, Stafford Borough Council, Cannock Chase Council and Staffordshire County Council.

Certification Process
Participants complete learning modules and submit pledges for climate action. Submissions are reviewed and certified by the Carbon Literacy Project (CLP), with successful learners recognised as Carbon Literate.
CPD Accreditation
All courses are CPD-certified, providing 8 hours of Continuing Professional Development credits.
