Cooling Costs
It has been two years since Wombourne Pool Bar, located in South Staffordshire, applied for our Grant scheme. They were recommended to update their Air Conditioning Unit, which was coming up to its 20th birthday – it was time for an upgrade. The new unit was a more efficient design, estimating to save the business 10,800 kWh per year and reducing their carbon output by 2.43 tonnes per year as well.

Not only were Wombourne Pool Bar more energy efficient they were also able to save approximately £2,900 per year, though, this has been difficult to measure because of the energy price increases.
However, with the rising costs of energy bills, there are ways that you can improve your premises that will reduce your costs in the long run, and you will also be able to become more energy and carbon efficient as well. A win, win situation!
